Check out these 14 random facts from the author of Creed, Trisha Leaver!
Trisha Leaver
1. I only dream in black and white; I honestly can’t remember the last time my dreams were in color.
2. I am mildly obsessed with Cool Mint Cliff Bars. LOVE THEM!!!
3. I am not a fan of the beach (even though I live on Cape Cod) The feeling of sand between my toes irritates me. Not to mention it comes home with you in the car, on the towels, on the sand toys and you spend half your summer vacuuming it up. Yeah, not for me
4. I am deathly afraid of snakes. I can do mice, spiders, and all sorts of other panic-inducing creatures, just not snakes.
5. Ever since I saw Poltergeist, I refuse to sleep with the closet light on. I’m afraid of getting sucked into the light!
6. I love to fish. For the past ten years, I’ve been trying to catch a tuna of Cape Cod. Ten years later, the only tuna I have ever brought home came in a can. But the dream lives on!!!
7. My favorite color is yellow. I would paint every room in my house yellow, but alas…by husband won’t let me. He’s says it would look like the house vomited up sunshine.
8. I am not a sane, pleasant or functional person until I have at least two GIANT mugs of coffee in me.
9. I love to garden. My herb garden is my happy place.
10. After I pay our monthly bills, I burn them in out fire pit. Somehow it makes me feel better about having to part with my hard earned cash for things like gas and electricity. Silly, I know, but it takes some of the angst out of billing paying day for me :)
11. My biggest regret is giving up my piano. There are least two days a week where I want nothing more than to sit down and play. Perhaps it’s time to think about getting a new one.
12. I still make snow angels every time it snows!
13. I talk to me dog All. The. Time. Like full blown conversations about random things like my grocery list. He sits there every time, patiently listening to me. I love that dog!!!
14. I can’t cook. I can bake; if you want a caramel cheesecake or a chocolate pecan pie I am your girl. Ask me to make you a pot roast or chili, and I will burn it every time.

Blurb (Goodreads):
Three went in. Three came out. None even a shadow of who they once were. When their car breaks down, Dee, her boyfriend Luke, and his brother Mike walk through a winter storm to take refuge in a nearby town called Purity Springs. When they arrive, the emergency sirens are blaring and the small farming town seems abandoned. With no other shelter, they spend the night in an empty house.
But they soon discover that not everything in Purity Springs is as it seems. When the town's inhabitants suddenly appear the next morning, Dee, Luke, and Mike find themselves at the mercy of the charismatic leader, Elijah Hawkins, who plans to make Dee his new wife. Elijah's son, Joseph, offers to help them escape . . . but the price of his help may be more than Dee and her friends can bear.

Awww, I love number 13. I love how the dog just sits there and listens patiently! And I definitely agree on number 3!!! Not a fan of the beach either!
ReplyDeleteI have an ecopy actually and I tweeted Trisha and Lindsay about how I love it soooo much. This would be a great opportunity to win a signed copy!!! THANK YOU MICHELLE!!!
I am definitely not fun to live with if I do not have my two huge cups of coffee in the morning! I also completely get what you are saying about the beach. I grew up in RI, went to the beach a lot, but hated the sand in the bathing suit!
ReplyDeleteCreed looks great - love it when books get a little creepy!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I hear you about sand between your toes. Plus, Maine sand isn't the warmest of earthy feels, any hoot..... Thanks for the insight on yourself, Trisha!
