In My Mailbox, Stacking the Shelves, Sunday Post--whatever you call it, as long as I think it's Cool, you'll find them all here! |
Cool things also happen at once! I would like to thank every wonderful person in this world who made my February!
- Feb Feels: 7 days of Valentines
Feb Feels was a blast!! First of all, I'd like to thank again the amazing authors who agreed to have a mini interview with me for this event. Thank you so much Katie McGarry, Colleen Hoover, Huntley Fitzpatrick, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Gayle Forman, and Katie Sise. Thank you also for donating your awesome books and swag for the giveaway!
To all the people who supported and joined Feb Feels from the beginning to last--thank you! It wouldn't be successful without you. Maybe we can do it again next year...with more exciting stuff! *wink, wink*
Check out the intro post (where you can check out the schedule as well) and wrap-up post.
- Ebooks!
Now that I have an ebook reader, I just can't seem to stop myself from requesting. The strongest thing that's keeping me now from requesting more is the graduation and final, qualifying, and board examinations preparation.

I never got a confirmation reply from the publisher so I was really surprised to receive Three by Kristen Simmons! I've also got an ARC from a new contact and look what I've got there--Ignite Me!!!!
I love, love, love Elizabeth Richards and her trilogy so much! I was lucky [again] to receive an ARC of the last installment of Black City trilogy, Wings, with a bunch of signed swag! The book was not signed (unlike the first two books she sent me before) but it's really okay. At least I have one blank book for her to sign in case she visits our country. Liz, you read that? You should visit Manila! :D
Last February 20th, our university held a seminar for graduating students called Career Success. The guest speaker, Mr. Ed Pilapil Jr., was very inspiring. Apart from his story, he also shared us stories from the people he knew--like, his former driver turned successful businessman. I admired Mr. Pilapil's view and approach in life. I also loved that he became successful because of his faith to God.
Another Cool thing happened that day is when he sold his book to us lower than the original price then signed it! I realized it was my third book signing event--only, I would also mark it as a first for unexpected book signing. XD
Don't mind the smiley there. I just saved the girl from the photo bomb. XD P.S Excuse my haggard face! |
