My Thoughts:

The Jelly Bean Crisis wasn't a fantasy book. It never rained jelly beans in the book. Like I all assumed. Silly me. But that didn't stop in making this young adult contemporary novel shine.

It is a story of Poppy--a girl who thought she figured her future already. But then she became confused when she witnessed of her classmate's instant popularity and richness. She then decided to find herself, her real interests, and call the challenge, The Jelly Bean Crisis. She defined life as eating jelly bean. You'll get to eat the ones that you hate first, then save your fave color--the best one--for the last.

This is a very good novel, not only for teens, but also for all ages. Every reader will learn and will be able to connect and relate to it--like I did. This is a tale that will make you think about your life right now. Do you really want what you are doing right now? Or you only do it because the people around you told you so? It is an eye-opener and the second you finish it (even when still reading it), you'd want to try to find your real interest as well.

If you are certain on what and where you are right now, I'm sure you'll still love this.

The Jelly Bean Crisis is an enjoyable, adventurous and very nice novel. All readers will learn something from this.

Recommendation:
For everyone! :)

Book cover comments:
I love it! Although, you would definitely assume that this is a fantasy book.
