Feature and Follow #17

So after my Feature and Follow comeback two weeks ago, I disappeared again last week. *facepalm* Sorry. I was busy last week that I forgot to write my post. But hey I'm back again this week. :P

Q:  We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

A: You know this question depresses me? Because I live far away from the countries these reader conventions are being held. But if I were the richest person in the world and I can fly to countries I want and attend reader conventions, I'd go to all of them. Who doesn't want that?

So how's your week been? Awesome? Tiring? Tell me about it! Or if you're too lazy to type, just leave your thoughts about my answer or the question and leave your link to your FF post so I could drop by as well and follow back! ;)

This Week:

And there's a lot of bloggers to follow too!

  1. Awww! you know I never really thought of the bloggers outside the US / Europe. I hope one day you'll get to attend a convention near you or somewhere else.

  2. Yeah, it's upsetting that there aren't more of these in other countries, but I guess it would get too pricey for the authors.

  10. Following back! It is funny you mention the distance thing because when I was answering this question I didn't even consider international conventions. Like you said, if I had tons of money I would want to travel and go to a convention in another country. What a better place to experience a different culture than a reading/art convention. The Phillipines should totally host one! Are there any good authors from your country that you'd recommend?

    1. I have read one book from a Filipino author--Kate Evangelista (Taste)--and it's really good. Though her publisher is from US, I think and there's not much copies here. I'm glad to read one of her books, though. You might want to try it! :)

P.S Thanks for the follow back!

  11. It really is depressing, isn't it? I was thinking the same thing. It's going to suck watching everyone who IS there tweet and share stuff. lol

  16. Sigh I know what you mean, I'm from Atlantic Canada and no book expos or blogger conventions ever come around here. If I were rich I'd attend them all too though :D Lets hope these kinds of conventions keep expanding and eventually make it all over the world so everyone can attend!

I hope you'll be able to attend soon :)

  26. I feel you. The only convention in the PH that I "partially" went to was the one hosted Edith Tiempo when I was in 5th grade. LOL

The convention I went was the RT when they were in LA a couple of years ago.
