This Friday's Question:
Book Olympics: In the spirit of the Olympics, which books would you give the gold, silver, and bronze medals to? It can be from any genre, new or old.
A:
To narrow down my choices, I'm going to pick books from what I read this year.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer (Lunar Chronicles #1) is another new fave of mine. This year or every year of my entire
I also finished Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles the year before and started Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry #2) on January--which I totally loved as well.
These are just some of the books I loved this year. I won't even put them in order because I love every one of them. They simply had the different kind of attack and spot in my heart. :)
One day I'll post my reviews of these books I love but for now, enjoy my review of Cinder.

Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?
A: Not really. But I do pick a book on what mood I want to have. For example, when something's bad about my day, I'd pick a light, hilarious contemporary. Or if I'm up to intense action or magical fantasy or awesome sci-fi-ness. I do not read based on what I felt. I read to change what I'm feeling. ;)
Happy Friday, everyone! Have a great weekend! X
I limited my TGIF list to books I've read this year, too. It was still very hard!

ReplyDeleteI never got into the whole Hunger Games novels. I read the first one and never made it through the second one. Not read Cinder but heard a lot about it, nor have I read the Perfect Chemistry book, but heard about it. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't read to fit my mood either. :) New follower.
