DECEMBER!!!

How have you welcomed December? Well, I had classes yesterday and still tired from all the stress. I'm not sure when will I recover. LOL But still, I am so happy and excited because I love holidays!

And yes, this my first December, first Christmas and first celebration...
with my blog and all of you!

As you have all witnessed, I started my first ever blog event called Celebrating Debutantes on November 12th and I already featured seven amazing debut authors of 2012. And this month, I will be featuring more amazing authors!

At the end of featuring debut authors, I will be featuring books that you should check out from debut authors of 2013! But this isn't the end of CD...because I will do it yearly! Cool? :)

(Events, announcements, MV of the Month, Movie Treat #2)

Because..it's my BIRTHDAY month!!!! Yay! My fave month apart from December, January and February.

I don't really have special thing to do (for my blog, at least) on my birthday. Busy and busy. *sigh* But the exact day of my birthday (28th -- Note: emphasis ;) will be my second day of duty in OR--on a graveyard shift: 10 pm-6 am. How Cool and amazing is that? Not. Creepy. (Hey, it's my birthday!)

Announcement: I'm not doing Teaser Tuesdays now. :( But a good thing comes because that means there's one new day slot open for any post. I'm still doing other weekly memes like WWW Wednesdays, WoW and Feature and Follow. :)

ANYWAY, the only 'big' that's happening will be the brainstorming of my first 'big' even on my blog that will take part in December. Hopefully, I--we--can make that happen because really, it will be fun. Just thinking of it makes me squirm with excitement! But I'm for no telling for now. ;)

Destined by Aprilynne Pike (Wings #4) was my FIRST SIGNED that I won from Young Adult Connection. Also, two books arrived this week! Audrey's Guide to Witchcraft by Jody Gehrman from Jody herself! Signed, plus a sweet dedication at the back of a cute card (I used as a bookmark) with a written 'spell'. Toy Story (1995)

A cowboy doll is profoundly threatened and jealous when a new spaceman figure supplants him as top toy in a boy's room.

Toy Story 2 (1999)

When Woody is stolen by a toy collector, Buzz and his friends vow to rescue him, but Woody finds the idea of immortality in a museum tempting.

Toy Story 3 (2010)

The toys are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college, and it's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

If I'm going back to school (which I'm not really coz I started school three months ago and getting ready now for midterms examination), I'd definitely pick this series. These animated story of toys are fun, fresh and makes me feel like I'm young again (not that I'm old. But like, kid young). I personally loved the third one. Not just because I forgot the first two movies, but also because it made me cry. It was heartbreaking and touching. You'd never expect animated toys would make you cry.

Music Video of The Month (July 2012): Both of Us by B.o.B ft. Taylor Swift

Hello July!

This month's music video is by B.o.B (ft. Taylor Swift): Both of Us.

This song is about people care so much about the way they look, but it seems like the thing they never notice--the more important one--is they don't even have any food or a money to buy one and to pay the rent--so their family can live. [Taylor Swift's] part here is wishing that she could lift not one;but both of them. One or two in the relationship's struggling to be together even in the tough times.

The music video doesn't really portray what the song says--it has random video clips of couple in different ages, Taylor and B.o.B [singing] together, etc. Why Both of Us? Partly because there's Taylor Swift (I'm a certified Swiftie!)--I would never post a rap/hip-hop song because I'm not a fan of that genre--and party because this song can relate to real life. It has a message and it's not like the other songs been releasing these days (like, songs/videos with adult content or some crappy messages and freaky costumes in a music video--really, why are they messing with music?).
